Agency not heroics
Stay in the game
Three practices for planners who want to do their best work for the long haul.
You go back to your desk and it’s all still there. The emails, the meetings, the requests that came in while you were out. Whatever you were thinking about an hour ago is gone by Tuesday.
This is a short guide to re-anchoring back to the way we want to work.
None of them is new, and that’s deliberate; you already know most of this! But the knowing was never the hard part.
Inside you’ll find:
- The two minute check. Drifting, hesitating, or spinning out. Which one you’re actually in, and which practice to start with.
- The three practices. Decide what you think. Number your list. Bank the wins. Each one with a version for if you lead a team.
- The story check. Five questions for the point where a new habit slides, which it will.
- The important versus urgent conversation. Lines for when the load genuinely is too much, and it needs your manager rather than a better system.
- Your week on one page. Print it, stick it near your desk.
It’s free. Put your details in below and I’ll send it over.
And /or, if you’re interested in reading more about some of the things I’m hearing and seeing (inc the email that *should* be a conversation) add your details below and I’ll send over.
